Standard Range
Attenuators are constructed from galvanised sheet metal. Where matching flanges are not ordered, holes are not drilled as standard. End flange dimensions differ due to silencer size and weight. Please refer to your Pacific HVAC Engineering technical team for project specific details. Sound absorption material used is high performance and bio soluble in addition to holding fire-resistant (AS/NZS 1530.3:1999) and non-hygroscopic properties. Special materials and finishes are available upon request. Typical special finishes include stainless steel, epoxy coating and project specific colours.

M – Line Range
In addition to the construction details of the standard range, the M-Line range of attenuators offers protection from water/and or grease ingress by way of an impervious lining. Typical applications include clean rooms, hospitals, kitchen exhaust and where equipment is exposed to weather.

Testing
The acoustic performance of Pacific HVAC Engineering attenuators has been determined by testing in accordance with BS4718:1971.
